A rising star in the fine dining scene, Finnish Chef Eric Räty began his culinary journey at Perho Culinary School in Helsinki, Finland. After completing his education, Räty went on to become Chef de Partie (and eventually, Head Chef) at two Michelin-starred Restaurant Chez Dominique, Pastry Cook at three Michelin-starred Restaurant Aqua in Ritz Carlton Wolfsburg, and creator of new pop-up restaurant Sandlådan.
In 2014, Räty travelled to Asia and understudied Chef Gray Kunz at Café Gray Deluxe in The Upper House. Since then, he has developed his signature style of refined simplicity, purity of craft and vibrant innovation, all while incorporating Asian sensations, ingredients and flavours into cuisine. As Chef de Cuisine at Arbor, Räty brought his brand of skill, flair and creativity to Hong Kong’s dining scene, and earned his first Michelin star in 2018.
