Chef de Cuisine
Armed with 17 years of experience working at established restaurants in Italy and Singapore, 33-year-old Chef Davide Bizzarri is the Chef de Cuisine of Fratelli at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). Chef Davide leads the culinary team under the direction of renowned celebrity chef brothers Enrico and Roberto Cerea who headline the restaurant. The Cerea brothers hail from the second generation, family-run Three Michelin-starred Da Vittorio in Lombardy, one of Italy’s finest restaurants since the 1960s.
Chef Davide obtained two degrees in Culinary Operations and Catering Services from IPSSAR Matteotti in Pisa, Italy, from which he graduated with outstanding grades in 2003. During the course of his culinary studies, he did a professional internship at Hotel Duomo in Pisa and upon graduation, advanced his skills at Restaurant Da Sergio, also in Pisa, under the guidance of Chef Andrea Lorenzi. Having worked for 6 years in Italy before arriving in Singapore, Chef Davide has gained valuable knowledge and expertise in Italian cuisine.
Prior to joining RWS, Chef Davide was the head chef at Restaurant Cova Pasticceria, where he was part of the team that prepared a dinner for former President of Singapore, Mr S.R. Nathan, in 2009. Chef Davide embarked on his journey with RWS as Hotel Michael’s Chef de Cuisine in 2010, where he prepared dinners for Singapore’s founding Prime Minister Mr Lee Kuan Yew when he dined at RWS, as well as large-scale events such as the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, Asian Masters and Gusto Italiano gourmet events held at the resort. His present position as Fratelli’s Chef de Cuisine marks a new chapter in his culinary career where he has the opportunity to carry the vision of the highly regarded Michelin-starred Cerea brothers.
